Step 1- Install it from Nuget.
Open nuget package manager console & write below command.
Install-Package iTextSharp
You found itextsharp dll is added as a reference.
Step 2-Generate PDF( Let's take an example, I want to generate an Invoice PDF.)

I would recommend you to use zetpdf...it is great handler of PDF,,You can easily create, edit, manange and manipulate pdf using zetpdf.
